Foreword
This cookie policy refers exclusively to the site www.angelini100.com („Site„) and must be understood as an integral part of the Privacy Policy published on the Site, to which reference is made for all the information required by Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that the sites visited by the user send and record on their computer or mobile device, to then be re-transmitted to the same sites at the next visit. Thanks to cookies, the site remembers the user’s actions and preferences (such as, for example, login data, selected language, font size, other display settings, etc.) so that they do not have to be indicated again when the user revisits the site or browses from one page to another. Cookies, therefore, are used to perform computer authentication, monitor sessions and store information regarding the activities of users accessing a site, and may also contain a unique identification code to allows the user’s browsing to be tracked within the site itself for statistical or advertising purposes. When browsing on a site, the user can also receive, on their computer or mobile device, cookies from sites or web servers other than the one they are visiting (so-called „third-party” cookies). It may not be possible to perform some operations without the use of cookies, which in some cases are therefore technically necessary for the operation of the site itself.
There are various types of cookies, according to their characteristics and functions, and these can remain on the user’s computer or mobile device for different periods of time: so-called session cookies, which are automatically deleted when the browser is closed; so-called persistent cookies, which remain on the user’s equipment until a predetermined deadline.
According to the legislation in force in Italy, the user’s express consent is not always required for the use of cookies. In particular, „technical cookies”, namely those used for the sole purpose of transmitting a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the user, do not require such consent. In other words, these are cookies which are essential for the site’s operation or necessary to perform activities requested by the user.
Among technical cookies, which do not require express consent for their use, the Italian Data Protection Authority (see the Measure „Identification of the simplified procedures for the information and acquisition of consent for the use of cookies” of 8 May 2014, hereinafter referred to as „Measure„) also includes:
- „analytics cookies”, which are used directly by the site manager to collect aggregate information on the number of users and how they visit the site,
- browsing or session cookies (for authentication),
- functional cookies, which let the user browse according to a series of selected criteria (e.g. the language, the products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service rendered to them.
For „profiling cookies”, on the other hand, i.e. those aimed at creating profiles related to the user and used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences they express in the context of surfing the net, the user’s prior consent is required.
Types of cookies used by the Site
The Site uses the following types of cookies, and offers the possibility of deselecting them, except for third-party cookies, for which the user must refer directly to the relevant selection and deselection methods for the respective cookies, indicated by means of links:
- Technical cookies (browsing or session) that are strictly necessary to provide access to the Site or to let users make use of the content and services they request.
- Analytics cookies, which allow the Site’s manager to understand how users use the site. With these cookies, we do not collect information about the user’s identity or any personal data. Such information is processed in an aggregate and anonymous manner.
- Functional cookies, used to activate specific functions of the Site and a series of selected criteria (e.g. language, products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service provided.
PLEASE NOTE: if technical and/or functional cookies are disabled, the Site may not be available or some of its services or functions may be unavailable or may not work properly, and the user may be forced to change or manually enter certain information or preferences every time they visit the Site.
- Third-party cookies, i.e. cookies from sites or web servers other than the Data Controller, used for the purposes of such third parties, including analytical and profiling cookies. Please note that said third parties, listed below with the relative hypertext links to privacy policies, act as independent data controllers of data collected through the cookies they send; the user must therefore refer to their policies regarding the processing of personal data, information and any forms of consent collection (selection and deselection of the respective cookies).
